Why is it so hard for people to figure out that Freo were only good under JL's tenure when Josh Carr was with the club? 2022 was all him, he propped up JL and we all seemed to think JL was a tactical genius when it wasn't him at all. We've also lost other good assistants who made him look better.

I was literally told by JL's personal assistant (who recently resigned) that JL is the dumbest coach she's worked alongside. He doesn't have a Plan B or change things up because he has NFI. All the players love him because he's a 'relationships coach'. I don't give a **** anymore in hiding that knowledge because this spanner absolutely has to go. Nice bloke but is not coach material whatsoever.

6-years of this? With a promising strong list? Against a subpar Saints side with a coach we sacked 6 years ago for this bloke? It's like getting your pants pulled down by a bully in front of the girl you like at highschool.

If not for Joel Corey's insistence Hayden Young would still be a HBF. Longmuir never planned on using him in the middle, maybe it never even occurred to him.

The call will be made on him at some stage, maybe it'll be after another thrashing at the hands of Collingwood, more likely it'll be when finals is mathematically impossible. Either way this year is a write-off. Another year where we should've gotten valuable finals experience into this group, instead we're wasting the prime years of the most talented group of players we've ever fielded. Serong/Brayshaw/Young/Darcy/Pearce/Jackson/Ryan et al will look back on their careers lamenting the fact that they wasted some of their best years under Longmuir when they should have been perennial flag contenders. grim.

It doesn’t help with Darcy ineffective for two seasons now. It doesn’t help that Fyfe hasn’t been replaced.

Across the whole game we didn't dominate Radelaide though. If they had kicked straighter it would have been a margin of under 10 points at best.

We played brilliant football in 1 quarter and kicked 6 goals for the rest of the game. Which is about what we kicked against the Saints in the whole game Friday night.

Not really. There were many games our mids were getting smashed and monstered. Young was the big bodied mid that for awhile changed our fortunes.. unfortunately coming back from injury he hasn't had time to have the same impact
