That Two Conference idea

I remember when this issue of having a two division comp surfaced once and I remember saying to myself "What a stupid idea!!" Personally I think it that the one good thing is that it gives teams wanting a birth a chance to do it with the big boys (eg- a few SANFL and VFL sides).

What do you think though about having a two conference system?

In theory, a divisional, promotion and relegation comp sounds quite exciting, but unfortunately Australia is too small in the population and $$$$ departments and too big area-wise. At this stage we couldn't support another X amount of fully professional teams.
