I would be cut if we took Lycett. Don't need him, way down on our list of needs.

Won't happen, IMO. GR is taking the piss for mine.

No way on earth Conca lasts to Tigers second pick. Freo at 20 absolute latest, more likely to go at 6 than second round

I would be rapt if Freo got Lycett, 202cm and moves like a rover. He should still be adjusting to his tall frame, I can't understand the lack of love.

I think there is a bit of obsession about mids at the moment I will not be surprised to see Gorringe, Lynch and Lycett all gone by pick 10 tomorrow.
 
I'm not saying he's not a good player. North simply doesn't need another ruckman.

Picking Lycett would be mind-boggling.

Point taken:thumbsu:, but neither do Freo after securing Griffen. This guy was playing on the ball and as a rebounding half back at times in the carnival and seemed to get a good share of the footy, anyway I digress.
 
Reece Conca for me is the most interesting pick in this draft.

4 clubs are very big fans:

Richmond
Port Adelaide i think he will end up there.
Fremantle he is certain to go to if they get a shot at him.
Sydney

A lot of people seem to underate him, he will step into senior footy with ease, has amazing awareness never gets caught.

Will be a chance to win the rising star next year.

If you say your prayers you might get Bennell. I wonder if GC would have gone for this:

Pick 3, 45 and Krakouer for Picks 4, 26 and 28. Eagles could have got Bennell who could be a flight risk for GC and landed Kraks and GC could have nabbed two more picks inside 30 for the cost of downgrading pick 3 to pick 4.

Especially the goal kicking midfielder with elite skills, pace, a big body and a year in an AFL system.

For my betting friends, can I bet on him this early or do I have to wait for odds to be released?

Not necessarily.

We still have players that have been in the system for a year or two that haven't yet got to 10 games.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a Rohan, Lucas, Moore, Roughead, Stanley, Shuey, Tapscott etc. take it out.

The thing with GC though is that'll largely be forced to play the young straight away, giving them better overall exposure.
