I predict that IF Stevie J can get through the year without being suspended, he'll come second in the Brownlow count (behind Fyfe).
I think he plays better after he has time off with suspensions / & injuries to a lesser extent. Sad, but seems to be what makes him tick.
If Ablett attains full shoulder function, he would have to be a huge chance again.
I predict Selwood, if he has a full preseason, to be our next Brownlow winner. Not a really outrageous prediction, he's up there every year now.

How the hell do I tag someone? I thought it was just a hash before their name... what if there are spaces? Not a tech savvy fellow obviously.

Re the above STC, I think it's unlikely we'll finish that low. I was just trying to convey that I feel next year is probably the biggest unknown of any year since 2007. If everything clicked I could see us making top 4, but of course, Clark and Stanley are unknowns at this stage, and we still have as many players getting worse with age as we have getting better with age, theoretically. I would be equally as unsurprised if we missed the finals altogether.
Instant expertise! Well done!
and all you had to do was ask. :)

Against my usual optimism I think that due to injury and less than optimal player management we failed to avoid the demographic cliff and it's going to start to hurt next year.

I wanted to keep the rose for a bit but thought Christmas deserved its own avatar. Might be the rose again tomorrow. If I remember to change it ;) You know the old saying, "if you don't use it, you lose it!"?
I use that saying at least once a day at work!

I predict we finish 6-12, most likely 11. other top teams will improve, we are mucking around with rejects and hasbeens and ditching those that have been loyal to us and lower teams keep working us out and will pass us by.
not worried about this, will be a reality check and we will improve because of it. we can not hope and expect to be in finals each year just because we have been.

Can you believe that I actually disagree with you? :D I think that if we are to slide it will be 2016 or the year after. There's just too much pride in our older brigade for us to slide too far imo. Every off season I think to myself that everyone, including our own supporters underestimates the pride and resiliance that our older players possess and imo you've made that mistake heading into 2015.

SJ Selwood Ablett 3 way tie would be the greatest thing ever

Pride is irrelevent once you're physically incapable of performing your role. I'm sure Kelly had plenty of pride in the final against North; likewise Bartel the year before against Hawthorn in the prelim. There comes a point where the body can't do what the mind wants it to (Scarlett in 2012 for example).

Didn't you predict that we would win 15 games this year? I tipped 16. We're actually not that far apart it's just that you like to dwell on the negatives more than I do, that's all. Even if 1 or 2 of them does happen to decline rapidly it doesn't make my point any less valid because I was referring to them as a group, not as 1 or 2 individuals like you just have. Judging by the fact that our outlook for the year W/L wise is quite similar it's only reasonable for me to assume that you believe that there won't be too many of our older players that rapidly decline aswell.

I'm not really sure what you are arguing against, other than simply stating the bleeding obvious.
