I was down there today and omg Petrecca made me firm as af
For a bloke that's barely played matchish conditions his run through the midfield and at a contest is beyond elite.
Still needs to work on a few little things but overall if i was a dees fan i would be looking at the Hogan Petrecca forward line and losing my crap

Jack moved well for his first hitout, didn't get much of the ball but did a lot of creating space, taking his defender away
Just needs to go out and get the footy

Don't expect him in the AFL time any soon though
Will likely be playing some VFL games before selection or depending on how well the AFL team is going

Would highly recommend coming down to Casey Fields for the Casey vs Box Hill Game

Live in canada mate or I would have to make the trip down, thats why im so gutted he isnt playing AFL yet ... youd think the club could film it though

How did Weideman look?

We are desperate for another tall forward in our senior side, but I suspect we will be giving Weideman a lot of time before rushing him in.

Played well
Still developing but he kept presenting when the ball went forward and attacked the contest well
Could have had 6+ goals due to casey won a lot of the footy
Still getting used to playing against mature defenders

How did Jack Trengove look to be moving? He was sooo slow, running in quick sand style for the 2 years prior to his injury. Even at VFL level he looked slow

Jack looked great, racked up the touches in the first q and steady throughout the game. Didn't look slow at all, still a hardnut player that attacked the footy and didn't show any fear of the injury which is a great sight.
Help break the lines a few time with his running
He's a complete football bloke, just knows all the plans, how to change lines.
Really hope he gets back into AFL soon.

Track played great, every time he got the ball inside he just ran out of the packs and bombed it down the line pin point to the forwards
he looked like he was on mins restrictions and needs to build his tank but that will come with more games under his belt

Dee's fan have to be patience with him and trengrove. don't listen to the media hype. No need to rush them into the AFL style.

Weids marking was solid, keeps attacking the contest and bodies out some defenders
just needs game time

I feel like as bad as Trengoves injury has been, one good thing to come out of it could be he is a far smarter player after watching and analyzing so much footy since he couldn't train or play. It sounds ridiculous but if it wasn't for Viney I'd make him captain again after Jones retires if his body is holding up.
