Vital, how far away do you think Hulett is from an AFL debut? Who do you think is closer, Weideman or Hulett?

I think if I was Vital, I'd probably sleep in longer
Left my house at 9am and got home at 11pm due to going tl werribee for the development game (which they won) and watched the match last night.

It was a tough game to watch hahaha

Thanks. What did you think of Grimes' game?
He played well, played on the wing and as a inside midfielder
His leadership and experience was really important since Balla came out firing and he kept the game under control.

Did Angus Brayshaw wear a cape?
Not really but was exhausted at the end of the game
Played a cap i think and was rested for the last 6 mins

Bit of a tough questions who likely to play first.
Sam and Liam are totally different players. Liam is more of a Dawes type player that runs up and down the ground and is a solid contested marker.
Sam is more of a hogan type player. Very good 1 v 1 and has a great kicking action. He is playing as a third tall atm ( though is rested till after the bye).

Reckon Liam is closer since he is playing more footy atm

Both forwards dont rack up touches and go missing from time to time

4 from Hulett. Reckon he's chance of a game before the end of the year.

No Weid again?

I know we all say we're fragged if Gawn goes down, and within reason we are ( ie. He's the best Ruck in the league). But Spencer has been going full beast mode in the VFL over the last month. He'd have to be averaging 50-60 hit outs plus a couple of goals.

He's kicked 10 goals from 7 games. Spencer is a good depth ruckman, we can't complain having him as our second option.

Rested till the bye i believe
Young body needs rest

Yeah Weid out injured again, should be back next week.

Hullet improving as the season goes on, can't see him getting a game though unless Hogan or Dawes go out injured

No Pedersen either - I was really appreciating his work at AFL level before his illness.

Another 40 touches from Jones, to go with his 30 odd last week. I know everyone has already made up their mind on him, but that seems to be banging the door down to me given how long he spent out. People forget he was dead set best 18 when he was playing in the seniors earlier on in the year.

He played like two good games and went back to normal before getting injured.

I don't like that he doesn't rack up tackles in the VFL, every other player seems to rack them up.

Surely he's playing an outside role like he would be at AFL level? If he's racking up 40 touches on the wing he hardly needs to be a tackling machine as well.

When you have Brayshaw, Grimes, Harmes and Neal Bullen as the inside mids. No one else is getting tackles inside

Uhoh - I personally think he is banging down the door in the manner of Jack Nicholson. If we open the door then we are surely welcoming early death.

Jones doesn't translate that form to AFL level, or at least not consistently. It's impossible to trust that he isn't going to suddenly turn in a stinker. Very good VFL player, but just can't make the leap.

Well I happen to diasgree. But if you have made your mind up on him, that's fair enough.

He was though. His NAB cup was excellent as were his AFL games this season prior to getting injured. He's a whipping boy so people just refused to acknowledge that when it was happening.
