To be fair, we've got Frost, Viney, Kent and Petracca on the sidelines, as well as Jayden Hunt.

Mitchel White has shown a couple of good glimpses early, and Gawn still has some time on his side, given the position he plays.

But yes, at the moment you feel as though we know pretty much what we're going to get from all the others.

Frost Viney Truck and Kent are all under 22 I guess and the next 4 guys who would drop down would be stretch, toump, jkh and one of brayshaw/newton/watts/VDB so their would be further young talent

For anyone interested I think the Casey game today is being televised by the ABC. Game starts at midday (12.12?? I think I saw of the clubs webpage).
Good chance to see ANB, McDonald and Harmes. Will be interesting to watch Fitz, Gawn and Jamar too. Would hate to be the opposition ruckman today.

I would have preferred to give him a complete rest week, he's no spring chicken and has done it mostly alone.

I suppose it comes down to why he was dropped from the seniors in the first place but we should be able to cover for him in the twos.

Likewise. Don't see the point of him playing VFL if he is being rested. Hopefully he just rests forward most of the match and Gawn rucks, but that's doubtful. Strange article on the AFL website about it.

I reckon he'll spend most of the game at FF with Gawn getting a run around the ground. It will be interesting to see if the brainstrust think Spencer is actually up to it now or whether they are just throwing him a bone in a game we aren't likely to win for good VFL effort Jordie style.
