Neal-Bullens having a great run of form, good to see after his interrupted preseason

Saints are probably a good team for him to debut against, a few younger bodies in there. 35 disposals is heaps, even at VFL level.

Neal-Bullen has had these disposal counts in his 5 senior VFL games this year, 19, 19, 24, 22, 35 and named in the bests 3 of those 5 games. Just improving as he goes on and would surely now have thrown his name in the mix. If he keeps this up a debut isn't far off.

I want Toumpas to become a player, but at the same time, I want to see ANB in the seniors. I think those two will be competing for a spot against St.Kilda.

For ANB to get more possessions than Tyson - who himself is a ball magnet in the AFL - is very exciting.

I want Toumpas to be a player as much as anyone, but at the moment he doesn't get enough pill and is soft.

That is a couple of pretty key deficiencies to improve.

I don't think it's fair to call him soft. He is weak in the contest, but not soft. He goes when it's his turn to go.

He struggled last week so will need a big game against Collingwood to hold his spot.

I am bordering on paying that call to you - but he hasn't proven to me that he goes when it's his turn.

He is definitely soft in the contest though.

He can run, he will crack in - and he can find ze footballz!

I Havnt got a good gauge on his foot skills, but if they are decent, I will get horny.

I compared his skill set and the way he goes about it to Dane Swan and Matty Boyd straight after the draft in our draft thread. He's a footballers footballer, hasn't got any attributes that make you go 'wow' but does nothing bad. The type of players that give me a woody and will make us a winner.

May i have some more please Mr.Taylor?

Good call, very similar - except his kicking is pretty neat I think.

Neat is probably the correct word (Swan is a neat kick, Boyd can be hot and cold) I dont think his kicking is anything special to be honest, looks a little bit loopy at times, he doesn't exactly kick the air out of the ball with bullet passes. That doesn't mean he can't or won't carve out an excellent career with us, Boyd and Swan are living proof of it. He plays smart and to his strengths in the footage that I've seen and of what I've seen of his kicking, knows his limitations, he sums up the situation quickly and rarely puts anyone in the hospital via his disposal, HarryO style.

In summary, he doesn't bite off more than he can chew, whilst not a penetrating kick of the ball as of yet (that can come) he uses his brain and finds the right target on the majority of occasions.

While i dont think he has Pendlebury awareness or agility on his feet, i did notice he was rarely rushed in the U/18's, would get the ball in traffic and hit a teammate, he had the ability to break tackles when he did come under pressure also, he looked very strong through the hips. Good courage, would go back with the flight helping out the backs. Simply, he's just a possession magnet, doesn't look like he is doing much damage because he hasn't got a booming kick and sure won't be taking 5 bounces with the ball down the MCG wing any time soon, but he wins his own ball and he rarely wastes it. Two attributes that i place right at the top.

He might not be pretty on eye to watch but he will be a 'get the job donererer' week in week out for us. He's got the smarts and enough tools to be a good AFL player, if he has the attitude and work ethic then the skies the limit.

(One other player that came to me last night that he reminded me of was Michael Barlow)

We havent had a big accumulator of the footy for as long as I can remember, Even Bruce and TJ in the middle were only averaging low 20's

We need one of these types because they dont usually play bad games
