Trengove and Oliver nearly got the ball as much as Michie and they laid 16 and 9 tackles.

Yes. I have seen every Casey game although to be honest the night games are hard and I can only see half the ground because the lighting is atrocious.

We'll surely you can understand why I'm saying he's not damaging (yesterday was a good example) a lot of bombing the ball high and long. especially I50 (was shocking at the grandstand end yesterday. Kicking to the near pocket and the ball getting cleared out). You can have 10 I50 if you want but if they're being cleared out by defenders are they damaging? You can rebound the ball from defense with a blond kick but if it comes back is it damaging?

You are dead right Tim. As I said before I know he had at least two, one of which resulted in a free kick and the other resulted in a clearance from the bombers goal square. I also know Hullett got at least one because I was standing with his dad and he tackled a player right in front of us.

If it's the clearance I'm thinking of he wasnt the initial tackler. I may be wrong but I don't think they count after the first held tackle

When you have the ball you tend not to tackle. BTW he had at least two tackles one where he got a free kick and one in the Bombers goal square when it was cleared by a Casey bloke. I only know because the recruiting bloke sitting in front of me recorded them and I a squizz at what he was writing when he went to the loo.

Fair enough I was only going off stats shown here and on Footy Live app. He's probably behind a few players anyway.

I don't think the excuse applied anyway. Probably can't compare him to oliver since he is an inside player who tackles a lot, but trenners is one of our good users who gets a lot of outside ball, and he had a decent tackle count.

I can't see him languishing in VFL all year. I think he had to work on something however I'm not sure what. So maybe we'll see him back soon.

Yeah, whilst I have question marks over him for the future he's definitely got enough to offer us still at the moment when he's in form. Will certainly get back to playing senior footy at some time this year.

I was starting to lean towards Michie as a straight swap for Salem at halfback as he is a smart user...but ZERO tackles? From a player who needs to improve his defensive workrate? At least give me a token effort Viv.

Viv’s really damaging when he gets his hands on the ball. I thought Viv was fantastic on the weekend.

Latest is that the perpetrator was ANB.

Brayshaw was knocked out when an errant kick from teammate Alex Neal-Bullen struck him in the back of the head from close range.

He got like 38 touches a few weeks back. They seemed fairly happy with him
He generally plays well at VFL level. I'm not falling for his crafty game though
