To be honest though it's pretty nice to see the two clubs working nicely together. to prosper together. Back when we were doing poor, i think i remember Casey was almost tossed on the scrap heap due to debt. I remember a few news stories suggesting we might be forced into fielding a reserve side due to Casey going under. Good to see us both have worked together and come a long way hand in hand

VFL don't have drafts mate. He's referring to blokes training with casey
They let them train over summer and then decide who they will sign. It's just the same as local footy.

Early morning read for me here thought he was saying they were training with Melbourne

Upon further inspection it was vital dread a dog's fan who posts about Casey in what appears to be the Casey thread I see the error of my ways

The only thing I would change about the jersey is the Scorpion motif to the 95 demons face or a demon motif.

Yeah that's pretty spot on. I hated seeing the MFC cheer squad people there too, because they would just use MFC shit (banners, pom poms etc), they weren't supporting casey, they were supporting "MFC reserves". Listening to them, they couldn't even name the non listed players.

There were a few die hard scorps fans, other than that nothing. Shits me that they complain now, if they didn't want the VFL to go down this path they should've been there everyweek

I also love that these people didn't see an issue going from Springvale to Casey, but claim Scorpions to Demons is the death of the VFL club.
