His first deal was 800k a year for 4 years.

Had a trigger in it though which he met which means he had a two year extension (If I understand this right http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-02-...an-for-life-as-contract-automatically-extends). No idea if that included a pay increase or not.

Well they should have moved him when budd got here. would have got a 1st rounder for him

GWS got MASSIVE draft concessions and made the best of it. They packed their team with kids so they could afford to lose a number 1 draft pick in his first season and not miss a beat. Not to mention they got to draft kids before they even reached the draft (Cameron, Treloar, Shiel).

No point comparing our list structure to GWS. If we were gifted as much as they were I think we'd be doing alright.

we can no doubt get rid of tippett, but we have to take what we can get. If cloke can get a game with the reigning premiers,tippett sure as hell can.
