His numbers suggest he's the best intercept marker after Rance this season, to cite one stat

It's elite company though no matter which 2/3 make it

People are obsessed with getting the highest disposal players into the back 6.

Most teams are Rance + 1 of Hurley or McGovern + 4 high possession players. A team with Laird, Docherty, Howe and Yeo playing back would probably get slaughtered. Alex Rance leads the comp with 139 1%ers. Laird has 20. Docherty 35. Howe 55. Yeo 34. Out of all these guys I'd say Howe is the most defensively minded, and even he is an attacking defender. I'd be going with the 3 key defenders. You'd take Rance or McGovern playing as the third tall over Howe or Yeo any day of the week.
Seems to be the case from what i can see. Thats why i mentioned it. A lot of parroting of what others type the likely reason.
The only 2 guys i can be certain of right now in the back 6 are Docherty and Rance. Hurley strong case for CHB. There is certainly no chance they'd pick all 4 of say..Yeo/Docherty/Howe/Laird down back.
Agree that 3 KPD's is likely.

Ryder has polled Coaches votes in 9 of his 13 games (missed 1 through suspension).
Kreuzer has polled in 8, missing 1 game with injury and getting injured in the previous game.

Kreuzer has missed on votes because he played in the losing sides too. For example, the St Kilda game he was great, but there were too many St Kilda players that were better.

Like I said earlier, they are clearly the best performing rucks and both are worthy.

Kreuzer vs Ryder would be a good matchup. Port molested Carlton earlier in the year and Kreuzer wasn't playing, and they don't play again.

Kreuzer is a machine around the ground these days (a bit of a rich man's Josh Fraser) but can't match Ryder's leap in the middle.

What a biased west coast thing to say. I would take that backline any day of the week. There is no way it would get slaughtered. Sorry but those other 4 are all ahead of Mcgovern.

Not surprised you think that given you support the team that is #1 in Dream Team points for the season but has won 5 games.

McGovern.

Stop taking the piss.
Watch more football.

Great to see Kreuzer having a good run of it. His first few years for a ruckman were very very good. It basically took him two years to recover from his ACL in mid 2010 and about the same from his foot in 2014. Unfortunately those big guys often just take so long to get all the way back to full fitness.

Rampe is no chance. Grundy has been his usual solid self but he is always a class below the best.

Franklin, Kennedy and possibly Lloyd the only players who should be mentioned for us.

Don't see a path for lloyd to get in, he's playing as a winger mostly, certainly not a full time defender, and midfield spots are very very hard to come by.

He is such a nice guy too. The most humble quiet people you would encounter. Really down to Earth and if anyone deserves reward for effort, it is big Kreuz!
