Heeney's stats are very similar to Kennedy's, and Kennedy has a lot more experience. They are both playing in the middle with little support from their fellow mids. Does he turn it over, yes; is he a turn-over merchant, no.

I love Heeney as a player but he isn't a great kick of the footy

We'll have the full set of athletic, perpetually promising key position players perpetually nursing soft tissue injuries if we get Moore.

I'm not even against getting him - in fact I'm excited if we get him because he's extraordinarily talented and if we get his body right we have a real player there - but it must be said that we're taking a big risk on him given Reid is already secured long term and can't play consistently.

I must be the only one keen to get him. Will be an upgrade on Reid when we send him back to the pies.
I'm getting pretty keen on Moore myself. He looked the goods after moving to defence and despite Aliir's height I prefer him as the third tall than the key defender. The following defense looks pretty good to me.

<small defender - Marsh, Jones, Smith>, Melican, <small defender>
Rampe, Moore, Aliir

I just feel sorry for the AFL media*. They keep trying to make stories out of the trade period, and everyone keeps signing early. Sloane, Mcgovern, Aliir, Brayshaw, DeGoey... They must be calling Lynch's manager saying "Just tell people he hasn't decided yet!" or they'd have no stories at all to blather on an on about.

*This is a lie. The AFL media are generally useless, and i have no sympathy for them whatsoever.
