4 Friday night games for the Bulldogs.

We have been shafted for years so, while we weren't the greatest but we weren't bottom either and deserve some.

Not to mention being moved off Good Friday.

I thought with Fitzpatrick no longer around to look after them we wouldn't have to put up with rubbish like Carlton getting 4 Friday night games anymore.

Curious as to what the AFL's aversion to playing Melbourne on Friday nights is?

I would have thought they'd get a few more this year.

They said in the live thing with Melbourne playing Tuesday nights, Queen's Birthday it takes 4 weeks to get them back to Friday night each time on 6 day breaks.

Great draw for the Cats.

Till the bye, Collingwood only travel interstate twice. All their other games are at the MCG or Etihad.

Imagine travelling interstate only 5 times in a season in a national competition.

Cats won't have to imagine it either, 2x Adelaide Oval, 1x Perth, 1x SCG and 1x Metricon. Great stuff.

At first glance some interesting stuff for Adelaide.

Away in Round 1 but also Round 23 - never happened. But we have 4 in a row at Adelaide Oval in May... weird.

7 Thursday/Friday Night games is big.
Bit surprised our home game is in Canberra. That's the blockbuster we wanted inn Canberra though. Delighted we get to play you at AO and get you twice. We need to be challenged.

Not bad although one of the most disappointing things about the fixture is that once again none of the WA derbies are on FTA despite the new stadium, all in that usual Sunday twilight slot. Looks like both Showdowns won’t be on national FTA again either, it’s not like Poxtel have exclusive rights to all non-Victorian derbies?

4 Friday nights and a Thursday night game for Carlton while Melbourne get 1? Did I miss something?
Melbourne gets 10 Sunday games too.

AFL have smashed us for some reason. Commercially the fixture is a horror.

Carlton more home games at Etihad, which isn’t our home

And we have the second most 6 day breaks (6)

Yeah, it really is.

You might want to move to the G, but there is no room there for another 'home' club.

Our fixture last year was, commercially, a horror too. We made it work. Maybe you can too.
