How much longer can Malone have Barton in the rotation? Shooting poorly, just turned the ball over a couple of times at the end of the third in a close game.

It’s a shame, but he’s woefully out of form and could end up costing them badly.

Still can’t quite understand the play right on the half time buzzer. Derozen misses a FT with 0.8, clocks SHOULD start as soon as the ball hits the rim, but apparently the ball can hit the rim, then the ground, derozen still has time to get the loose ball and throw up a shot and time doesn’t expire....amazing

I’m probably wrong but I thought the clock starts when someone touches the ball not after it hits the rim.

Didn’t see the game but the Spurs must have played great. Going to have to watch the replay, Jokic’s numbers look incredible. Good to see that at least one first round series went to 7.

Section II—Starting and Stopping of Shot Clock
  1. The shot clock will start when a team gains new possession of a ball which is in play.
  2. On a throw-in, the shot clock shall start when the ball is legally touched on the court by a player.
  3. Following a jump ball or missed free throw, the shot clock shall start when new possession is obtained.
