If nothing else, this series has shown us that Supercars drivers are as political as ever, even if it isn't as 'rough' as it once was.

I think it's also pretty clear that McLaughlin wants to get out of Supercars, because of the frustration that things aren't coming easy in something he's already proven himself in. Very much like Ambrose.
