Tom Powell was $67 to win Rising Star on Pointsbet late last week. Now down to $21, and I still think that's worth a nibble. If there's a long-term injury to Rowell again, then Powell is the type of stat-stuffing, ball magnet player who jumps out at people with his numbers. This alone makes it worth a bet - all it takes is a Rowell injury and he's right there as one of the favourites.

In the first 2 rounds put $10 on each team tipped to lose then do $5 individual multis with north to win and each of them. First 2 rounds always throw up the unpredicted winners so you should at least get your $ back

Call me a masochist, but 44 1/2 pts head start to beat the line seems too generous for me to ignore, even should we happen to lose, i expect some kind of resistance would be enough to avoid a complete blowout.
