So Tex is back early to training.

Must have been bored.
Not being available for the first part of the season is really awkward for him.

If we setup an attack that fires early there's no reason why he would automatically get back in.

Eg Fogarty, Thilthorpe, McHenry, Rachele, Gollant and Cook.

Yeah, no, the only way Tex is not an automatic inclusion by round 4 is if he's injured. He's still a top 10 player on our list.

It's just a question of if it's Gollant or Fogarty that makes way when we get there.

That would be the best possible outcome. Then he has to earn his place back and can wait for an opportunity, while also helping the SANFL players develop.

I don't think Gollant will be in the round 1 side

He should be. The lad tore up the SANFL last year and earned his debut. It's also not like workrate is an issue and we've given every impression we rate Lachie very highly.

He's a much better option than either Fogarty or Himmelberg as a forward coming into 2022.

What if at R4 Fogarty has kicked 10 goals and Gollant 7?
Be madness to drop either. They're the future.

Then Gollant will be dropped as Fog has won that duel. Or vice versa, if Fogarty is typical Fogarty and offers nothing else, and Gollant does. Or we'll drop Cook, Rachele or someone else if both have cemented their spots, though that scenario is more unlikely. Or even Thilthorpe.

Future or not, we do lack experienced players and Tex is still good enough to be a walk-up start in our side, especially as he's seen to be a leader. It's guaranteed he'll be back if he's healthy/scandal free. This is a club that has needed to be saved from itself repeatedly with senior players, and likely nothing will change on that front.

I guess it depends on what you mean nothing else.

He needs to be getting to the Vader mark.

Avergaing 12 touches and game 2-3 Goals.

That's almost undroppable for a KF at 22

Himmelberg yes, Fogarty no.

I'd still pick him come Round 1 with Lynch obviously not being here.

Six observations from this clip:

1. Nick Murray is becoming a monster

2. Schoey looks like he is about to hit beast mode

3. Good to see Johnny on the track! A new recruit next season hopefully.

4. Chayce Jones needs to keep the Mo, plus will keep getting better this year and will make a few eat their words
5. James Borlace looks superhuman with massively long arms
6. Patty Parnell looks to have put on some size and doesn't look like a 6 year old boy
