I'll most likely just watch us make our first two picks then follow it on Twitter the rest of the way. I don't really have an interest to watch a million pick swaps and bids between our second and third picks.

Surely the play is the Uwland - Patterson double bid right out of the gates.
Gold Coast think they're trading to cover bids but make it impossible with our first action.
Actually use the bidding system against Gold Coast, unlike bidding with Uwland at pick 2 and leaving Patterson on the board (as is suggested we will do).
The sentimentality of pick 1 is overblown. Use some smarts.

Do we go Patterson at 1 to really force their hand?
