I was going to post the same above. When they printed number 1 on it, it looked massive. Hope he doesnt put it on for another embarrassing pic like the Chesser one.

Both Dursma’s jumper and CDT’s were too big although not quite as bad as Chesser’s.

Why can’t they get this simple detail right? Reeks of incompetence.

Seems like a metaphor for the whole operation - can’t get things right.

Absolutely bewildering use of resources. Lindsay is a reasonable selection at 19 in a weak draft, but boy did we trade a house for a paperclip in the process.

I believe we effectively gave up Barrass, Ryan, pick 22, and 2027 F3 for Lindsay and Young (and possibly 33 depending on where the bid for Williams lands).

Assuming this is correct, it is diabolical list management that's emblematic of where we are as a footy club.

Struggling to give us the benefit of the doubt on the trade. Feel like someone cocked up a calculation somewhere. I doubt we made the trade with lindsay in mind, must have been confident that suns either couldn't or wouldn't match both guys. An explanation would be nice but im guessing that will all stay in house.

Can't be unhappy with Lindsay. Needs to work on his defensive work rate but his kicking is elite and will open play up.

Future picks for (realistically) marginal present gains seems like, and has often been shown to be, folly. Didn't think it was in our ethos tbh, but hey gotta back our evaluation I suppose.

Consider Emmett, Greeves, Ludowyke, Fred, BOB, Dalton.

I wouldn’t match any of our NGAs TBH, the talent in those groups is far greater.

Looking like a significant blunder not having more main list spots after giving Cripps, Bazzo and Cole one year extensions.

How does Banfield stack up against those midfielders?

Well aware this is a minority view based on the last ~hour, but given how fluid draft picks now are, the way in which they are moved on masse, does it really matter? Haven’t given away a F1. Have a full year until the 2026 draft and ability to gain more picks if required.

The end result with the players we have selected is good. Hopeful optimism.

Sure, we didn't really address a 'position of need' by taking a straight up mid, but when literally every position on the ground that isn't occupied by Hough, Baker, Harley, Ginbey, Waterman or Shanahan is a position of need I think we did a good job of filling in three spots that could potentially be picked round 1.

McCarthy showed how desperately we needed a back half unaccountable accumulator with good foot skills.

Our small defenders can’t kick for shit and panic under pressure so this is actually a huge need.

Allows McCarthy to move up the field or have them both down back as a duo. Annoyed about the loss of the F2 but can’t fault the selection.
