There is no process I don't think (at least not to take a ready made footballer).

We may be able to use it on someone cross-code or an International rookie. Not sure if we'd have to have already done that, and think it's highly unlikely that we'd bother (given that the club has already declared it's got it's hands full with so many kids, having to teach someone the game would be too much)

West Coast would still have the ability to nominate him as one of our NGA players like we did this year but he would need to accept that nomination

Not sure really. I liked his highlights package. So expect him to be the number 1 small forward for Carlton in 2026 (not hard to do though Owies was their best small).
