Injuries suck man, this Gm7 could've been epic but unfortunately a blowout in the 3rd and its over. With Haliburton looking like he'll miss the entire 25-26 season, Indiana now have got to go find another scorer. They already needed more than just Siakam & Haliburton offensively anyway.

Shai is only player I can think of that was a freebie merchant that still got the calls in the playoffs. The best comparison obviously Harden with us but he got a completely different whistle in the playoffs, used to drive me mad as you just want consistency, even if that meant no calls in the season at least the player can adjust, i guess we now have consistency for SGA but doesn't seem to extend to others.

OKC have the most boring, Vanilla and soulless fans in all of the NBA, mostly snobby wealthy boomers (bit like the Crom in that regard)

There won't be any rioting or looting tonight in the streets of Oklahoma, which goes against the grain of any decent sports city that has just won a championship
That city has had its fair share of unfortunate disasters, they deserve the chip.

SGA just completed one of the most dominant years you will see, backing up from an incredible year last year.

Is 26 years old and with a great and well run franchise behind him. I hope he goes on to dominate the league for years to come.

Horrible for Hali & the Pacers. Essentially lost two chances at a chip tonight.

Just an awful injury.
Things can change instantly with the NBA trades but as it stands right now the Knicks look like we moved Thibs on way to premature, they have a golden opportunity now to be the best team in the East with the current roster. 2 of the 3 teams "close" around them have lost their star player for next season.

Who knows what will happen with the Bucks roster and Celtics obviously will have to probably clear one or two out so this is the Knicks and Cavs golden opportunity that you won't get to often. The Magic and Pistons will benefit in a major way with these injuries it wouldn't shock me to see both of them end up in the top 4 by the end of the season. Can the Pacers go this deep without Hali?

It is fascinating how quickly things change. Suddenly no Tatum & Hali, means the Bucks even without Lillard, are somewhat back in the frame in the East.

Cleveland & Knicks will remain towards the top though and would be licking their lips at their prospects next year.

Hali's injury is devastating, but can't deny OKC a title on the season. Both teams play hard, game after game, and could probably teach a few things to certain other teams.

Pacers have nothing to apologise for and should have few regrets, they left it all out there. Feel for them with the injury.

Playoffs overall delivered a lot of good moments, but attrition rate remains the elephant in the room. Just way too many injuries, sucks the fun out of it sometimes.

On the flip side OKC will probably be the same? Will they have the same hunger? Lakers with a fit Luka will be dangerous and it will be pretty tight like this season but the East is completely blown wide open with these injuries.

Was in the States (nothing to do with the nba wedding to be exact), weirdly was a fun series. Was able to watch a couple of the games and watched today was just knackered as I got back late last night.

Best team won and nothing wrong with that. Love watching OKC defence and good to see old school defence can win championships. Weirdly they can still improve especially offensively as their 3rd and below options (after Shai/Jdub) could be fractionally more offensive, but 80+ win season they deserve this.
