I don't know when I stopped caring about The Simpsons but I'm guessing around the time I finished school, so 2001.

My head is full of mid 90s references but I can't remember anything from the 2000s. Bit of a depressing feeling when you drop a well timed 'I see you've played knifey spooney before' into conversation with an adult and they look at you blankly.
I find everyone knows that.

Same with "nine hundred dollarydoos!"

Frasier is brilliant.

I used to think it was boring but as I got older I find it very clever and different.

Not just the same crap.

Re runs are still on nine and I often find myself enjoying them.

I never got into Frasier even though I liked his character in Cheers.

I know there are other reasons as well but the show going downhill after Phil Hartman’s characters were retired is not a coincidence.

Newsradio went downhill as well after Phil Hartman died, he got replaced by the painfully unfunny Jon Lovitz and it got axed shortly after.

I only watched that show because Phil Hartman was in it, without him it wasn't worth watching.

Brett Anderson ruled. Animal Nitrate, we were actually laughing at you.

Homie please, Bernard Butler was the man in Suede.

This is worse than your Naomi Campbell over Kate Moss faux pas.

Nah the Simpsons was great. Genuinely full of really good characters who were all a bit like, you want more but their small appearances are all you actually need. Some great humour and wit in there. Kirk Van Houten, Krusty, Gil, Moe are my favourites. I love the pathetic sorts.

He sleeps in a racing car bed.

Released November 1999:

Imagine a studio spending money on this video now. Wouldn't happen. The internet ruined the financial streams (hehe) of CDs and such.

A very melodic song bringing back memories

In both cases we may have been coming at the issue from slightly different angles.

Have you ever seem Hercules Returns with Bruce Spence and Mary Coustas. That was a great 90s film.
Still have it on VHS

Still wet my pants when I watch it on my video recorder.

Yes, I still watch videos and play my cassettes at home. I’m so 90’s. My kids just shake their heads

90s was when everything went to crap.

Trash bands like nirvana.
Trash telly like home and away.
Trash sport like the expansion of the vfl.
Trash governments like Howard's.
Trash royalty like Prince Andrew the teenage sex predator

Did you turn 30 in the '90s?

Average sitcom, but a lot of depth in that cast.

It was never 5 grand a pound and the decriminalisation happened in the 80s, it was ninetirs they cut it back. It wasn't 10 plants, it was nine in the nineties it went back to 3 because of ferals.
Sounds like you didn't listen to your old man's stories, properly.

No, did you?

You look at the real stories being told in cinema in the 80s, compared to nineties.

Just look at your favourite actors who worked through both decades. How their movies changed
someone brought the Trash in.

Look at acdc, killed the eighties, but like all the big names of the eighties, they bombed out through the next decade.

Everything went to shit in the nineties.

We had our best ever prime minister in the 90s and we replaced him with our worst ever, our head of state implicated in the death of our next Kings mother.

It is what it is

You might be right about the date and number but it was 5 an elbow back then and I didn't need my old man telling me I was there living and doing it

And who was that, pray tell?

And who was that, pray tell?

You procrastinated too long before thinking it through and instead posted.

The imf did a study on Australian government's from 57 to 07 Nd found the four worst economic years were under Howard and cOstello. Within a few years of them Being replaced, this country's economy was back to where keating had it

The moment Howard's mob got back in, the econiomy went to shit again. If that's not enuff for you, when that mob was in from 78 till 82, Howard as treasurer, it was the same fracking shit

it doesn't say much for the Australian. They vote for the party that lies to them and steals there Money, ruins their land, their communities, their way of life, their education, their health.
