Out of all the great U2 songs that Bono has written, this is the U2 song you're most likely to hear on commercial FM radio stations.

It's a stupid little song that Bono wrote to his wife to get back in her good books after he was off on his sex, drugs and rock'n roll tours.

Bono hates it and is embarrassed that it was released, the rest of U2 hate it, even his wife hates it, the only people that like it are FM radio stations.

One of the greatest 90s singles from one of the greatest Australian bands.

That song was huge in the early 90s, it broke them in the States as Molly would say, they were still playing it on the radio in 1999 when I was there,

Silverchair were all the rage in the States back then too and they got a lot of airplay but it was never any of their good stuff off Frogstomp.

It was sh*t like this from Neon Ballroom which was the polished Americanised commercial rock version of Silverchair.

True, this one was good though

They played that song fair bit on the radio there too, didn't mind it.

Wasn't as good as their Frogstomp stuff though.

Never forget the first time I heard that song on Triple J, they sent it in on like a cassette tape and they were called the Innocent Criminals.

I remember thinking that is a great song but a terrible name for a band.

Then they changed their name to Silverchair and I still thought it was a terrible name for a band but then it caught on and I got used to it.

Achtung Baby & Zooropa were U2's 2 best studio albums, so I'm fairly happy with their 90s.

Post-Frogstomp singles better than Straight Lines: all Diorama singles, Ana's song, Reflections of a Sound, Freak.

I agree but All You Can't Leave Behind was the exception in the U2 pop era.

How can you not be moved by Bono's heartfelt tribute to Michael Hutchence?

That is poetry.

Never knew that was about Michael until the mini series came out. (never knew the two of them were friends either) Just heart breaking.

I remember in the 1990s the Christian Television Association used to advertise on Channel 10 (in particular) all the time. And I don't mean at 3am either, during Saturday morning cartoons or NBL highlights hosted by Bill Woods. That sort of died in the arse. But now they have their own channels I guess.

Oasis morning glory album. listening to it.

The first "buuuum" of champagne snova, chills.
Slowly walking down the hall faster than a cannon ball? I was doing a lot of coke back then too but what the f*** was that about? Liam Gallagher is often both intentionally and unintentionally hilarious a lot of the time though.

This is what I'm talking about. A lot of Oasis's lyrics are just drivel. But you don't notice it/care because the songs are so catchy and listenable.
