Someone mentioned this video game which I never played

I did have this game

The music is a raging clue the same developer made both games. Big city lawyers probably would force more differentiation today.

Meanwhile, those of us who had a PlayStation (or PSX as it was shortened to back in the day) were served these unplayable steaming piles of crap...

Fortunately I had a modded PSX at the time so I didn't pay much for these pieces of shit (probably $2 or something...).

I almost didn't buy WWF SmackDown! when it came out in 2000 because it was published by the same company that published those WCW monstrosities (THQ), but my dial-up internet was fast enough to load reviews of the game online. ;)

Anyone over about 7 years of age realises that wrestling sucks mate.
That's because you're not nWo 4 life.

Who was the hottest 90s chick on Home & Away/Neighbours?

Melissa George as Angel. A dude at my school dated her for a while - like actually proven not a high school thing - and he shagged her in the Summer Bar High dress.

My favourite TV show set in the 80s, just scrapes in- was made in 1999.

When The '00s thread is made in a few months Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem are getting spammed. Fun fact: Al Doyle is in both bands.

I saw Hot Chip open for LCD in Edinburgh circa 2004.

Coz I was cool af.

Proper uni student drinkers would be buying Tun Bitter or going to Aldi. You can get 24 cans of Rivet Lager (4.6%) for $26.99. It's probably bland AF and gives you a horrible headache the next day but when you are 18 isn't that the idea? I have tried the 4.8% Sainte Etienne lager in bottles and as far as generic Euro lagers go it's fine. Tell someone who isn't a beer snob it's $50 from Dan Murphys and they wouldn't know any different.

In the 90s one would got to The Arthouse (now the shitty Irish pub on the corner of Queensberry St and Elizabeth Street Silent Alarm ) which was a quality punk/thrash type venue on a Monday night for unlimited 50c pots of Geelong Bitter.

Geelong Bitter my friend. Oh dear Jesus.

Anyone remember this ****ing show, "Amazing" where kids lost their shit when they won a nintendo gameboy?

I used to watch the shit everyday after school even though I ****ing hated that host, James Sherry. I bumped into that dude in real life many years after the show was finished. No joke, just walking down the street in Perth CBD and I walked right by him as he was crossing the road. I was looking around to see if other people recognized him/were looking at him but nobody seemed to.

Saw LCD Soundsystem at Big Day Out 2011 (ugh). Couldn't believe they were buried in the dancey tent. Should've been on the ****ing main stage. Few months later they performed at Madison Square Garden (their fake retirement)
