Series 1 of the A-Team, Magnun PI and the Knightrider are being released on DVD today. Big fan of the A-Team and Magnun PI, so I'll probably get them.

Anybody remember these classics??

Unfortunately yes, I remember these pearlers. They toured Kit (the Knightrider car for all you youngsters) through Perth when I was about 7 and I remember being taken to see it with my younger brother. Magnum PI... what was it with the 80's and facial hair?? :confused:

Personally I think it's pretty funny, especially the banter between between Murdoch and BA. Series 1 also had AAA (Amy) who I thought was really cute when I was a kid.

It's always dangerous to revisit your favourite shows as a kid.

I was the biggest 'Diff'rent Strokes' fan going round but I can't watch that show anymore for any number of reasons.

I think I'll let my memories fool myself into how good 'The A-Team,' 'Knight Rider' and 'Magnum' were.

Although, I'm a sucker for 'Hunter' repeats.

The A-Team and Magnum PI were cool, but I never really thought that much of Knightrider - though I was pretty bloody young when these shows were around.
 
The A Team is the ********. Knightrider doesn't seem to have retained it's original magic for me. Magnum I was never a huge fan of.

When is Manimal beign released I ask myself...?
 
I was in prep or grade 1 when it was on. We used to role-play A-Team adventures in the playground, and I always ended up as Murdoch. :mad:

How about Blue Thunder and The Fall Guy? They were cool. And the associated toys... :cool:

Schlock TV at it's finest.

Lots of those shows on TV1 at the moment.

I am awaiting Diff'rent Strokes, the Six Million Dollar Man, Wonder Woman and more schlock (read as extremely bad acting) to come back on.
 
I sat down and watched all 15 episodes of Series 1 yesterday (I was home sick... very very sick) and I found it a laugh a minute. It was hilarious. It was funny when it should be, and funny when it shouldn't be. Some of the continuity errors are a huge laugh, as well as the use of stock footage in every episode. Today it would consider Z-grade TV, but back then...

Murdoch is a scream and AAA was seriously seriously seriously hot. It's a shame she was only involved for 1 season.
