This fine fledgling team is about to leave the nest and venture out into the world of SANFL old school real footy that we all grew up with. None of this AFL high flying MCG busting at the seams nonsense. No huge crowds or egos will deter these future stars (and past) of the over hyped. These young men will be unhindered by fat bank accounts and dodgie managers(that will come later)
Instead we have the pleasure of assembling our future stars....blah blah blah!

Hopefully some bright minded and intelligent Mod may see fit to ssschticky this thread for all future generations to enjoy and contribute............or not!

Hey great idea! This team needs its own thread so even if it was not sssschtickeeed it might gain its own momentum and might even roll that overblown tippet thread!!!!

It will be interesting to see the non listed boys play.

To see if we have any diamonds in the rough.
there will be - i'd personally like to hear how these guys are training.
Yes, I've a vested interest given there's three Uni boys trying out; I believe they're good enough to play successfully at SANFL level. Whether they're good enough for higher I'm unsure.

Give it time but I think you can imagine, right now they are not a high priority to AFL fans.

Give it 4 or 5 rounds and some are playing regular footy, we can give yiu an update.

Not sure just one stickied thread is the way to go for our reserves team. I'm expecting weekly thread on the games like we used to have weekly threads on the performances of our players in their SANFL teams.

Ripping idea to build the excitement about them though Hunter. Fully support that. Are you going to get a chance to see them play live?

Can the sycophantic thread title be changed, please?

I mean, I guess if you're being ironic I can see what you're trying to do, but it's bad enough that 'Here we go, Camry Crows' even existed, let alone voluntarily going down the same path again, albeit for the SANFL team

I would love to see them play at one of the old suburban grounds. I may have to organise a trip back home to coincide with a Crows game. Do a weekend "double" There's nothing like standing on the outer having a beer at Prospect or Richmond oval. The crowds might be smaller than I remember but I think with the advent of the 2 new reserves sides it could be the making of the SANFL if handled properly.

Good man - hope you find a great weekend for it.
