Hopelessly unprofessional by our twitter bot. Not the first time either. Heads should be rolling - this was completely unprovoked and unnecessary. Makes us a laughing stock.
Like throwing a handful of sand at their speeding locomotive.

They're having a great year. We just have to suck it up. Taking pot shots now is so pathetic.

For the official twitter account to come out and post that is pretty disappointing. Just isn't necessary, regardless of whether its true or not, should be left for the fans to post that kind of stuff.

what's wrong with the truth?

Holy s**t just saw that tweet. Grow up AFC and stop obsessing about the power FFS. Some of the idiots that work for this club...

I want to see a club that mans up and doesn't stoop low into childish shitfights. They will beat us every time at slinging s**t its in their DNA, lets focus on what we do best, if we haven't forgotten.

Getting caught up in s**t fights with the power...it suits them and they've been hard at it since day 1 because it distracts us from the big picture and gets us to focus on pissant cross town BS instead of focusing on competing on a level with the powerhouse clubs. It also suits the VFL's age old divide and conquer strategy of playing us off against them so that both sides never work together for a common cause like F/S etc. The only party it doesn't suit is us. Be smarter FFS, be the bigger man and don't get sucked into shitfights, let alone go out looking for them. Poor form.

I'm not the Crows. Just a dude who see's an antiquated system falling further behind the modern world and asked why don't they evolve with the game? It isn't to suit one club its to play the same game we know as Australian Rules football these days. I wonder if the SAAFL plays by modern rules or if they play by SANFL rules?

and they always will be under the current SANFL umpiring panel.

Who's to say which league is evolving in the best direction.

Yeah we started the war with the state guernsey and haven't really learned from that little disaster.
Everyone's on the port train now so instead of trying to derail it we should humbly except that they got it right and we are still waiting at the platform for ours.

If Norwood was in the AFL instead of Adelaide I guarantee you there would be a lot less crap thrown back and forth about history or lack thereof because both clubs would have it. There would be a lot more hate towards the Vic teams.

Now we just have to wait a few decades and a few flags later until both clubs supporters can admit they both have history. Because by then it would be a fact both ways.

No, we don't have to wait for anything because no one gives a toss about your meaningless ranting about history. This is the AFL not the SANFL. We've been there since its inception in 1990 and unlike some we're not deeply self-conscious about our place in it and how it came about.

We Are Port Adelaide

Yesterday
There's professional football clubs like Port Adelaide who strive to succeed at all levels of the game on and off the field, and there's unprofessional, jealous, bitter, amateurish clubs like the Crows who are more concerned about upsetting their older and more successful brother than they are improving their own club. This is just another reason why the Crows have lost the respect of football fans not only in SA, but nation wide too. Where would they be without Adelaide media pumping up their tires every year and sucking in the sheep only who follow the Crows by default because 'they're Adelaide'? The toxic corporate culture that exists at West Lakes and Slops Sanderson will ensure they will have nothing to cheer about for a long, long time.

Anyone know of any places in Melbourne showing the SANFL Grand Final?

Went to The Charles Dickens Inn last year to watch it but they won't show it this year because they 'don't have the channel' anymore.. or something...

Just cos the AFL is forever changing the rules doesnt mean they're going in a better direction.

I think the SANFL is clearly better in the way it adjudicates the game.

AFL should get their hand off it and most likely will now that the biggest prob - Vlad is gone.

There's professional football (that needed the AFL and SANFL to bail them out and install an acceptable off field setup) clubs like Port Adelaide who strive to succeed (but failed terribly for 5 out of the last 7 years) at all levels of the game on and off the field, and there's unprofessional, jealous, bitter, amateurish clubs like the Crows who are more concerned about upsetting their older and more successful brother than they are improving their own club (hmm full corporate sponsor ship, higher profit, higher aggregate crowds says we do a few things ok). This is just another reason why the Crows have lost the respect of football fans not only in SA, but nation wide too. Where would they be without Adelaide media pumping up their tires every year and sucking in the sheep only who follow the Crows by default because 'they're Adelaide'? Enjoy your short memories Port. Enjoy your time in the sun too Port, you never know when it might come to an end.......

Spot on. The ride of 2001-2007 came to an abrupt end on GF day 2007 and it just got worse from then on. Now we're back on the rollercoaster and approaching the top again. Just when it turns downwards again no one knows, so don't worry, we're enjoying it while it lasts. That's football!

Yep, we've learnt that lesson as well, 2012 was a very quick moment in the sun. Also we had a pretty good run to 2009 and could have been forgiven for thinking we set ourselves up to be a powerhouse club but that too evaporated pretty quick.

Final game of the season on a few minutes away.

Norwood vs Port Power reserves

Come on Norwood. #3InARow
