My Council works with an Indigenous horticulturalist to sell 10 native plants for $10. Residents get a voucher and then there is a day with this fella and his other staff to pick out their plants and ask questions about which suit their gardens. It's a very popular program and has been running for many years.

Edit Provenance Indigenous plants and this year will be the 17th year.
We sell stuff to them.

When i moved back here last feb, i joked that the " Don't call an Ambulance " ad was the most Adelaide-thing ever.

I was wrong

Staying in Glenelg for Gather Round and trying to work out the best way to get to Barossa Park.

Happy to drive (probably prefer it over public transport), but I’m guessing parking is going to be pretty limited / a bit of a nightmare? Would PT be easier although there are 5 us?

Keen to hear what others are doing or any tips from locals who know what's best

Adelaide Metro site has a Park n Ride map for all of the free shuttle services to Barossa Park. Best bet would be to drive to one of those spots and catch the shuttle.

It would be much easier than trying to park at/near the ground, and catching PT all the way from Glenelg would be a very long trip each way.

I'm staying in Port Willunga for Gather Round.

Adelaide strikes me as incredibly beautiful but I think I would die of boredom within 6 months if I had to live here.
