Not that Marion is great, but if you think it's a dump then god help you if you ever visit Colonnades or Arndale.
Can't comment on Colonnades as I've never been there but Arndale... you'd be mistaken for thinking you wandered into the mall from Dawn of the Dead.

Its funny living down south I never thought of Colonnades as anything but close to home. It has its ferals and bogans and assorted wannabees , but you get them at Marion TTP and Arndale. Dropped in to Arndale once or twice when I was on that side of town. Makes Colonnades look like Burnside

Marion at Xmas is to be avoided.

We drive to ttp every week for food shopping....thru chain of ponds which is always fun
Marion we visit if we go gold class cinema
The sooner they get a gold class cinema up my way the better
the upgrade at ttp is going to cost quite a few car parks that wontwbe replaced ive heard
we park up the top and have to go thru that whole aldi area and up the ramp....the people who designed that are ****ing numpties

Inspired by People of Walmart, they should have People of Munno Para Shopping City. Certainly one of the more interesting places I've visited in Adelaide.

Munno Para feels like another country legit. Elizabeth ain't that bad really, Parabanks is horrendous and Hollywood just as bad. Tend to stick to Golden Grove and St Agnes which is pretty decent if you're just going food shopping.
It's weird re Elizabeth and Parabanks. Elizabeth isn't that bad but has much shadier looking people wandering about & Parabanks is the complete opposite where it looks scummy but the people don't look shady in comparison from what I've noticed

At GG Village right now. Looks like a torn down dump at the moment. Shitty construction that'll make the place look uglier and worse off

I grew up just down the road from St Agnes

I swear the only people in this city who use pedestrian lights to cross roads are the first year Chinese students who haven't worked out that in Adelaide they're only a suggestion.
That used to be the case in Brisbane, then the cops trawled the CBD fining people.

they had a blitz on jay walkers couple months ago, i reckon it lasted a day

On this though, the amount of traffic lights on North Terrace from King William Street heading west is bloody ridiculous. The one that annoys me the most, is for the tram stop just after the Morphett Street Bridge. There's a crossing where the traffic comes off Morphett Street ie at the beginning/eastern of the tram stop, and then 30 metres up the road there is a pedestrian crossing that leads to the western end of the same tram stop. It just is stupid.
