I got that pic from the State Library History page. They say 1895. Happy to be corrected and for the Library alsoits actually c1909, beehive corner was built in 1895- 1896

I looked at an article about R Sewell from 1919 saying he had the shop for 13 years ie 1906. My original post had after 1906. Then I found the pic from the History page

i used to go to timezone all the time, especially the lock ins
Monash playground was the best, except on hot days when you burnt your skin off on the slides
South Road Timezone did awesome lock ins.
We've probably crossed paths jostling for possession of the Addams Family pinball machine.
Still got a pic of me as like a 5yr old near the bottom of the twisting slide , sans hessian sack and burning my arse - will try and dig it out.
