Hope all our friends in the Hills are safe from the fires

As long as i doesnt get into mt crawford forest and come down my way
Gets in there and its pine city

And as i type an Alert SA popup on my phone happens


Although there is still some activity in the north western section of the fire near Cudlee Creek, fire activity has continued to moderated throughout this evening, there is still some areas within the fireground of active fire. There are also large areas of unburnt vegetation with a potential to cause flare-ups.

The size of the fire is approximately 25,000ha with 127km of fire perimeter. Support agencies are working to assess damage and clear roads to allow people back into their properties when it is safe to do so.

Many of the roads have been reopened to local residents only, a list of roads closed to all traffic are below. Those persons wishing to return home are asked to provide identification at road blocks, this includes drivers licence, photo identification or rates notice. We remind everyone to take care, as there may be hazards on these roads.

Fires seem to be non threatening so far in Cudlee Creek thank ****.
Did boxing day sale at TTP....ive been up there on busier saturdays, even got parking in the shade.

Haha mate I know someone who was at the same Christmas party as them.. cousin of Riley's boyfriend. He sends a photo to a group chat saying how hot his cousins misses is, someone fires back jeez that looks a bit like Riley Reid.

Approximately 150,000 hectares burnt, mostly in the various national parks on the western side of the island.

Flinders Chase National Park is all but gone.

North/north west of it
It blew opposite to where we are and headed south west so had no warning for our town
Its under conttol now but was deemed severe for a while as we are all close to a massive pine forest
Temps are much lower today
Kangaroo island is gonna complety burn tho by the looks of it
My block is as low as i can cut it so ive done my bit
Will also be reviewing our fire evac list of stuff to do/grab this weekend.
So its easy to grab shit and just go

glad there isnt any smoke smell, it was pretty strong last night
