Can't help but feel bad for Saint Nicola. She's been our fearless leader for so long now, and one silly comment about the footy has given her more national attention than the past 15 months combined...

She's done a marvellous job in the past 15 months, and yet people want her sacked because she made an ill-informed comment about football.

She's a medical professor first, and football fan second (something she's admitted herself), and she's always used analogies in her press conferences. The football one was a bit of a gaffe, but if that the worst she's done in the past 15 months, then it could be a hell of a lot worse.

This. She covered the stupidity by being attractive, but got found out this week and should really resign. Had nothing to do with her 'footy knowledge', it was plain stupidity and lacked any real-world thought.

Same with the pizza bar, yes someone lied but there was enough prior evidence to suggest what she was doing was ridiculous and in the end proved to be just that. How can anyone trust her anymore

Her 'ill-spoken football reference' had nothing to do with footy. She proved she has no idea, and no risk assessment skills whatsoever. Embarrassing people still defend her. Sums up politics in 2021 though, doesn't matter what these people say if it's "your team" they're good no matter what.
