MRP review doesn't happen until Monday next week, settle petal

As for the act, cowardly is a bit of a stretch but I can see why you and the other Tigers are so hysterical about it.

That's not relevent. The AFL have had plenty of time to get on the front foot but there has been silence.

So you want them to charge a player, without going through the proper processes

Yeah can't see any issues with that :drunk:

Where is your evidence that the match review panel sits on mondays in pre-season?

Go have a cup of tea, a Bex and a good lie down before you get even more worked up

Scroll down, it's the post from yesterday with the Video of Richmond Vs the Hawks

Hopper shoves a Hawks player, Will Day ends up with a broken collarbone

Zero weeks for Hopper on a similar "coward act", thoughts?

Unpopular opinion, however I think the attack on Ginbey have been a bit dramatic, things happen on the footy field & it wasn’t great & it’s more annoying it was a practise match. If there is a case to answer it will happen in due course. But if this wasn’t last years top pick & a player taken in the 60’s I’d doubt this would be such a big story

Yep, it would barely get a mention if it wasn't the #1 pick and Ralph wasn't a Richmond supporter.

There's a whole heap of ex-players like Mathew Lloyd saying it needs to be investigated.

And?

We all know if it was Ginbey instead of Lalor that got hit, they'd all be running defence for him, saying it was an 'unfortunate' accident.

Let's not kid ourselves here.

They said nothing when Riewoldt tunneled Barrass and broke his back, after all.

& I’m sure the match review officer will look at it. But it’s been reacted to like Gibney is Barry Hall & Lalor is Staker.

My point is the reaction doesn’t meet the act.

You’ve started a thread saying this one incident that hasn’t been looked at at yet is proof the AFL isn’t taking concessions seriously. It’s not a reaction that matches the act. In my opinion

Does it make a difference? End result was a player was injured by a 'cowardly push'

Or should we only punish head injuries?
Indeed, and at least it is arguable that Ginbey was planning to contest the mark until his teammate floated in.

Hopper was never in the contest at all and was never getting his hands on the ball.

As far as I know the onus is on the offending player if the victim sustains an injury.

So you would have been comfortable with Hopper receiving a ban since the outcome was Will Day ended up injured from his actions?
