Calm down, its about celebrating diversity and a contribution towards living together without carrying on like everyone who is different should be denegrigated. Keep your animosity towards Muslims to yourself.
When is the afl hosting a Jewish event
Or is that not diversity

If your jimmies are rustled about lack of celebration of things you like then you need to take a breather. No need for anyone to be carrying on like a pork chop when it comes to recognising Bachars excellent contribution to our greater footy community.
What is his contribution to the wider community

Apart from bashing someone behind play and gets his bros in to help

We have already had Jewish involvement in the AFL, whereas only two Muslims have been involved in the game, everyone complains that they dont immerse themselves in Australian culture, isnt this a positive step towards that?

When did the afl pay for a Jewish function
They immerse themselves because they get a free feed, we’ll sort of

Again
Quran sunah 4:34
Have a read,it’s most definitely cool to strike a woman with a rod!
Unfortunately many if not all religions make of things as they will, Mohammed apparently said this

"Give her food when you take food, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not revile her face, and do not beat her."

So as with all religious tomes it is the interpretation that is often the problem.

I am just talking about the teachings, not the followers. The teaching says women are inferior and are entitled to less, and can be hit, and so forth. It has a bit to say about the Jews, homosexuals and other minorities too.
Depends which round Carlton play Gold Coast. Bigfooty celebrates him and his glorious porn melt.
A creation of fantasy like Cthulhu should never be mistaken for his surpreme exaltedness 'The flying spaghetti monster' to do so is a cardinal sin in Pastafarianism.

Yep.
All as bad as each other.

I love Leviticus and Deuteronomy
My favourites too!
Laphroaig has mentioned many of my most loved sections but I also have a fondness for the bit that tells you how to diagnose if a piece of cloth has leprosy and how to punish it if it does.

Words to live by.

Let's not beat around the bush, Islam is an ancient and outdated religion based does not fit in well with modern and western society.
Integration is not really their thing.
Really?

The difference between Islam and Christianity amounts to roughly 10% of the total content. Barely more than the difference between Baptists and Presbyterians. Same god, same general tone to the "Books". Including the nasty bits and the extremist nutjobs in both camps who ruin everybodys reputation.

Around 1/3 of our Australian modern and western society are actively christian, and another good sized chunk kind of but not really active.

I've heard school children sing "Allah Allah is God, Mohammed is his profit." Know what the second verse is? Allah Allah is God and Jesus is his prophet." There is jack shit difference between "us" and "them".

When you say ‘another good sized chunk kind of but not really active’, I suspect you mean ‘were raised as Christians but soon realised religion is total horseshit’

Some from column A, some from column B.

When I am in a grumpy mood I am certainly in the camp of "God is for people who can't cope with life."

However. In the 2016 Australian Census 55% of all Australians nominated that they were Christian. That's a sizeable chunk. And there were multiple options to indicate "it's all horseshit" or "I believe in nothing" instead.

Trouble with the current younger generation(s)? They think they invented everything. Including doubts, of which they have depressingly few. Just like the folk who raised them did at the time.

Genuinely surprised by that, frankly
Me too.

Statistical awareness is an important part of my business (and I am not talking about bullshit invented stats like sports stats).

Most days I get a surprise. Especially when it comes to just how far the meeja and the politician's words and actions are removed from what the data says we should be doing.

A belief in God is not necessarily a belief in religion...thank god.

Im insure about whether there is a God or Gods I lean more to the second then again if a God or Gods appeared I would probably think it or they were aliens of some sort, religion causes too many of the Worlds problems and are to focused on wealth and control for me to follow any of them but each to their own.

It's a significant difference when your central character is a warmonger and is also held up as the ultimate example to mankind.
