So then this thread is really only about KPP who don't get benched? Or half back or half forwards? The problem with midfielders is they never play 100% game time.

Sorry, we don't celebrate the weak and embarrassing in this thread.Conversely has anyone got this season's stats on the most benched players/time off ground?
No, only AFL games are counted here.Good effort from Eric Mackenzie to play 11 hundred percenters. Does this include his game time for his other team ( East Perth ) when he was running around in the WAFL?
Tom Scully. 98% game time. Not worthy of club membership.Which Mid has gone closest?
Pretty impressive.Tom Scully. 98% game time. Not worthy of club membership.
No-one in the 100 club is fat. You can't be an elite endurance athlete if you're fat. Scully on the other hand might be fat given that he can't last a full game.Pretty impressive.
Better than these fat no runners.
This is a list of players who get through an entire game of AFL football without sooking for a rest because they're tired. These are the blokes who should be celebrated for their bravery and commitment. It's not the club's fault that none of the small men have that kind of courage.Right, so this is a list of key position defenders and forwards who don't run nearly as hard as other players on the ground.
Of course they aren't the goalsquare stalkers of old who had a mortgage on a few square metres of turf which they guarded jealously, but still, I don't see how it is that impressive.

Gibbo and Rance could definitely match Buddy's 100 in 100.
They are KPP who dont run as much as midfielders, so your endurance bit is a load of s**t

Problem with using 100% game time as your measure is that no midfielder is ever going to achieve it

He should be the highest paid player in the league. Does more work than anyone else.Gibson has played 14 games at 100% TOG? That's crazy.
He did. So did Josh Kennedy. Awesome players doing what they do best.Did Eric Mackenzie play 100% TOG against Collingwood? Certainly felt like it.
