Nah, former players in the media, especially ones that got such good treatment from the club, can talk all they about current issues but should never talk down the club and its history.

Imagine Richo saying that Richmond’s golden era 1960’s and 1970’s is meaningless now, or Hodge telling fans that Hawthorn’s 1980’s juggernaut is irrelevant now and a footnote in history, or Eddie saying that the 4-in-row 1920’s Magpies should be forgotten.
