So, what exactly is Essendon Football Club denying? There is documented and irrefutable evidence that players were prescribed a banned substance. The players signed the document and were taken to a secret location for treatment. Well let me see if I've got this right because I'm pretty stupid. Is chairman Davis Evans saying, YES there is a document, YES the document prescribes a banned substance, YES the players signed it...... but what we actually gave them was Smarties. GIVE ME A BREAK. The only question still to be answered is when will the AFL ban these cheats.
You know all too well the situation and why Essendon are still proclaiming they believe parts of their programme and practices deserve to go unpunished. Well, maybe you don't, you do say you're pretty stupid :D

But yeah, seriously, the players had better be banned, Hird et al. had better be de-registered, Essendon had better lose points (both retrospectively, in the now and future) and they had better be stripped of draft picks.

And Melbourne should get their % back :)

It could prove important for us getting a home final.

This is all about the AFL, the Umpires and the UN colluding to ensure that the result of matches and finals teams and the ASADA decision all line up and at the end of it all, Essendon will win a push in the back free kick that will result in a goal and Gary Ablett Jnr will return to finish his career at Geelong as a permanent forward wearing number 5 and never winning another GF because the AFL and the Umpires will be colluding.

Don't got casting dispersions on people who have a lesser knowledge of the law. Well, maybe for Mr Meaners, like stealing an eski or something. Look, I'm sure you can make people like patto_man or Sooz escape goats for the situation, but coming from Vermont South (that's just a ruour) gives them an out. Probst best to stay away from pacey's sister too (I give it two weeks tops), just let the worst 200 game player, Anthony Rocca, have his day or the lawyers might be on to you. Wow, I'm tired, I hope I don't get caught lionaround. Thanks, Ben.

Pretty much the same for me, except I've gone for Brisbane over West Coast. Reckon the Lions will grab the win at the Gabba.

Unsure, though wouldn't be surprised to see Essendon win big.
Port Adelaide vs Richmond
Richmond easily
Brisbane vs West Coast
I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions caused an upset. Eagles should win.
Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne
Roos should win. The Dogs are 2 years away. Although again it wouldn't surprise.
Hawthorn vs Sydney
Tough one. Mumford out hurts, although he's been largely ineffectual this season anyway. Swans in another classic.
Fremantle vs Collingwood
Collingwood know how to win away. Task ask for the Dockers with key players absent. 50/50
GWS vs Adelaide
Yep
Melbourne vs Gold Coast
Ablett will prove the difference. 200 SC coming up.
St Kilda vs Carlton
I smell what's cooking.

My tips.

Essendon
Richmond
West Coast
Nth Melb
Sydney
Collingwood
Adelaide
Gold Coast
Carlton

My tip for Essendon/Geelong may change before first bounce. Gut says the Bombers, head says the Cats (although part of that may be wishful thinking).

I'm not so sure with Richmond/Port. With Cotchin out, Hinkley will be licking his lips. Deledio dies whenever he's tagged, and Cornes will make sure of that most likely. That pretty well leaves Martin and Conca to hold up the midfield and I'm not sure they're up to that yet. I'd take Boak/Ebert/Cornes/Wines over Conca/Martin/Tuck/Grigg.

I disagree. The Tigers weakness is their composure in the back half. Forget the midfield battles, Richmond's structures have Port well covered. The factors on the outside of the contest will prove the difference. I expect Richmond to dominate in this area and expose Port's lack of talent in defense.

In saying that. expect Port to win by 50+.:p
