Hai bay,

So, it's around that time of the year were non Essendon and Collingwood fans begin to shed streams of salty tears about their side not playing on what one could argue is the second biggest day on the AFL calender.

So, I have created a safe space here for you guys to post your salty tears and melts.

Collingwood and Essendon fans, I'm looking forward to the big day!

Cheers flogs.

Either of you folks won a flag in recent memory?

Enjoy your one football game.

No thank you. I don't want my club associated with warmongering cloaked in national pride, the exploitation of patriotism to lure young men to their deaths, and the mindless glorification of mankind's most inexcusably evil acts against itself.

I dunno bosky. I much prefer our country how it is rather than be a second Japan with Pufferfish ball as its national sport.

Tears of joy don't count towards your objective dopey.

Solid deflection.

You're hiding your salty tears behind your tears of joy friend. ;)

It’s pretty early to go the fishing or salt retort.

Signs of fail

Friend, this thread was for folks like yourself to post your tears. I was merely emphasising that point.

One could argue that, but one would be objectively wrong if one did so.

Da **** NL?

Quoted multi quote showing off.

Sure why not? I'm a multi-quote whore. Stupid Chief, the most stable genius, for putting the feature in.

I notice there a no Essendon fans so far supporting the OP?

Most of them are on their drug-induced bender. They will appear soon enough.

Good. Good. The tears are flowing nicely!

2010 wasn't that long ago friend. ;)

You have to be kidding me.

It's a perfect fixture.

  • Dawn Service
  • Battle breakfast
  • March
  • Go to Rissole and get hammered with ex Navy mates
  • While watching football in the happy circumstance of being positively **** ing gleeful about whoever loses.
Life does not get much better.

In fact the only way it could get ANY better is if a thermonuclear device detonated at the ground as the ball went up.
The life of a Blues fan.

Only joy in football is the failure of other teams.

The time is almost upon us flogs. Your amateurish imitation whore yourself out whilst riding on our coattails games are providing some lulz (lol hawfs) but Wednesday and the real thing is drawing near.

Essendon and Collingwood have made Anzac Day mean something to millions of Australian's that would be otherwise ignorant (Collingwood not so much).

The fact we agree to share it with you is something you should be thankful for.

You're welcome.

The real thing happened in Gallipoli. Essendon and Collingwood are just playing a fixtured game of AFLM which is worth 4 points just like any other game of AFLM.

As a supporter of a lesser team that will never compete on April 25 I don't blame you for not appreciating the true feeling of the day Podgey.

The true feeling would be the many lives that were sacrificed for our national security. A game of AFLM between Collingwood and Essendon doesn't relate to that at all.

And yet it will captivate the attention of 100,000 people at the ground and over a million glued to their tv sets, whilst the hawfies book their next flight to Tasmania (and not even the capital ffs :$)

So how did the shameful episode one hundred years ago ‘secure our national security?’

Especially as it came much closer to peril in 39-45

Lest we forget how easily the elites sacrifice working people to maintain their cushy existence
