A driver who pushed through a crowd of demonstrators in downtown Portland while they pounded on his sedan and yelled for him to stop says, contrary to their accusations, that he never tried to run them over. But Kent Houser, 74, admits he was eager to bolt the chaotic scene. “When you have an angry mob yelling at you and beating on your car you just want to get out of there,” he said Friday in an interview with The Oregonian/OregonLive. The incident, which unfolded Saturday during a march to protest a fatal police shooting the previous night, was relatively minor by Portland standards. It spawned no injuries, arrests or riots.

They thought he was trying to run them over and chased him. He stopped and got out but it doesn't look like anyone attacked him physically.

I’m glad that I live in regional Australia.

As an unapologetic gun owner and enthusiast, I fear for what I may do if I lived over there and was confronted by some of these parasites.

He is an old man in a car surrounded by a large, angry, and aggressive mob of ‘protesters’ who appear to deliberately stand in front of his vehicle in order to stop it. As he drives off to escape the mob, you can clearly hear the preciouses in pursuit yelling about how ‘he is gone get his ass beeeeat’

As with the Heather Heyer case, what would the left like these drivers to do? Stop, turn off there engine, and wait for these animals to drag them out of the vehicle and beat them to death?

The left are completely out of control and insane at this point.

Or more likely until it’s there people who are killed. At which point, the Don Lemon’s, the Fredo Cuomo’s, the Owen Jones, of this world will bleat about the scourge of far right extremism, and the rest of society and the media, so completely and utterly cuckolded by identity politics, will be too scared to do anything bar play along.

The terrorist who killed Heather was a schizophrenic with a history of violence and Hitler worship. He bypassed a street blockade and deliberately accelerated into counter protestors. He plead guilty to the attack.

I remember the LA Riots as if they were yesterday.

The terrifying footage of Reginald Denny beaten almost to death caused a visceral reaction in me, which lasted for days. The lasting memory is of him sprawled on his stomach, unconscious, while his attackers continued the vicious barrage, throwing a large object at his head.

It was the everyday man going about his business, and accosted by anarchists. In a split second, his destiny was taken out of his hands, and placed in the hands of fools. Fools of violence.

He suffered horribly, and never recovered from the trauma.

The most sickening part was he publicly forgave his attackers, who showed no remorse. An honest white working man, who initially got out of his truck because he thought others may have needed assistance. In the end, it was he who needed saving.

That sickening episode in history buried the innocence of the Reagan 80's, and heralded the beginning of the Clinton administration, an era from which the US has probably never really recovered.

This is why we are so frustrated by people who shout "lets burn stuff", only to be ridiculed for overreacting, and labelled Ok Boomers.

We see the 'red flags' of anarchy and upheaval in this current group who call themselves antifa.

As in 1992, I doubt anyone will listen to our pleas, and history may very well repeat itself.
