Thanks. I get that you think this guy is far right. I'm not disputing that. You mentioned earlier that he writes for a far right website. All I was trying to do is work out which website you thought was far right. Was it Quillette? i.e., Do you think Quillette is far right? If so, please explain why.

In terms of social media, comments on news stories, posts on sites like this. Any conversation about right wing extremism nearly always has Antifa brought up.

Andy Ngo was punched once and had some eggs thrown at him, and there is a global outcry about the immediate need for action against Antifa.

Right wing extremists have been killing people, and we talk about the need for free speech.
After James Fields drove his car into a crowd, this was followed by too much of the media and social media talking about trump and Antifa.

Ngo had abrasions on both eyes as well as his forehead and suffered some hemorrhaging in his brain. I think "punched once" is a bit of an understatement. My understanding is that the entire incident was not captured on camera.

I think the outrage about Antifa you mentioned comes because we routinely see politicians and official in the US deny, smother or ignore any incidents. US politician Ilhan Omar was asked if she would condemn the firebombing at the ICE facility. Her response was to avoid eye contact and pretend like she didn't hear anything. AOC was presented with the same question, and quickly shut down any hope of a real response.

When elected officials ignore reality, people get frustrated and scared. They start to wonder who will protect them if the government won't.

How many politicians have condemned Richard Spencer, Gavin McInnes, Trump, Shapiro, Milo, Stefan Molyneux?

There are current investigations into law enforcement who are supporters or members of these rifht wing extremists.
The law is working with these people to arrest Antifa members.



And my biggest problem is that anyone who opposes right wing extremism, is now considered Antifa. So it tales away from the very real and very important message that anti-right wing extremists are pushing, by lumping them all in as Antifa, and then talking about how dangerous Antifa are.

Those with the biggest problem with Antifa seem to be the ones who sympathise with the right wing extremists.
They don't agree with their methods or total ideology... but they think there is an element of truth to what they say.

It seems like you're now stepping back from the claim about the website. I was just interested to understand why you thought Quillette was far right. But now it's clear that you don't know whether it is or isn't, which makes me wonder why you described it as far right in your earlier post. Anyway, moving on...

The cameraman is an arseh*le, but he has a point.

If they've not made a statement about it yet, that's really shit on their behalf. They should easily be able to come out and outright condemn that kind of action and anyone who supports or influences it.


I think they're hesitant, because people could look at their recent comments and actions as possible incitement for what that guy did.

Well in that video antifa were there to have a counter protest agsinst the Proud Boys which is to be commended in my book. The way the Alt-right demonizes antifa is very misleading .They are not random street thugs ,they are anti-racism protesters and the hysteria around them is just paranoia. If you look at the groups that build up antifa to be the devil are trump and all the racist anti- immigrant groups.

Well in that video antifa were there to have a counter protest agsinst the Proud Boys which is to be commended in my book. The way the Alt-right demonizes antifa is very misleading .They are not random street thugs ,they are anti-racism protesters and the hysteria around them is just paranoia. If you look at the groups that build up antifa to be the devil are trump and all the racist anti- immigrant groups.

If only that would shut you up, but I highly doubt it. Would have thought ( even to the sycophantic deniers ) that it has been amply demonstrated in the 15 pages to date, that Antifa are a pack of modern day fascist thugs who get off on violence, particularly when the numbers are in their favour. When the police intervene they scream “police brutality”.

I decry thuggish behaviour, whether it be from Antifa or Proud Boys, True Blue Boys, or whatever they call themselves. They’re all intolerant scum bags. You on the other hand, together with Socrates2 and CM86 seem to be very comfortable with defending to the hilt the violent, intimidatory tactics of Antifa.

By the way I thought this thread was discussing Antifa worldwide, whereas you seem desperate to limit it to Australia.
