Well in that video antifa were there to have a counter protest agsinst the Proud Boys which is to be commended in my book. The way the Alt-right demonizes antifa is very misleading .They are not random street thugs ,they are anti-racism protesters and the hysteria around them is just paranoia. If you look at the groups that build up antifa to be the devil are trump and all the racist anti- immigrant groups.

These situations and talking points are so divisive, that it's easy to get stuck in the mind set of "with us or against us".

Thinking along the lines of 'To question Antifa is to support the Proud Boys'.
It's hard not to end up down that vortex if you've spent a lot of time looking and reading about these things.

But in saying that, I don't think you've been fair to Patrick Bullet. He has asked some legitimate angenda-less question, and you seem to have painted him as your enemy. Which is not a good way to have a discussion.
Similar possibly to my reaction to Engimal v3. Sorry Engimal.

A problem with so many divisive issues is the number of disingenuous agenda-driven people it attracts. It makes it more and more difficult to know if you're responding to a leading question, a lie, a trap etc. So you're always defensive.
This means we won't learn anything though.
I'm trying to have an open mind. So I'm going to try and look at every issue in this thread on face value for a while. Except from certain posters.
And I think you should too.

In truth I'm just a bit tired of the BS that seems to creep into political discourse (from both sides) though I totally get how disingenuous people can easily lead us into traps.

Apologies mate if I put you in the same basket as WARoo and Fatyak, it can be hard to sort the wheat from the chaff when you get constantly attacked on these forums.
Obviously no violence is good and antifa probably has a few dheads involved, but the stats presented show the more viable threat of violence comes from the far-right groups, and by a long way.Comparing antifa with neo-nazis is outrageous imo .
