Interesting snippets. Might just be more of the same but I wonder what was said in between the cuts? The way I see it with the overall Racist Right vs ANTIFA struggle, violence in and of itself isn't the real evil here, it is in what name the violence is carried out. If violence is done in the name of ethnic exclusion and/or segregation I believe it's a far greater evil than any violence used to counter such actions.

BUT, if people are just rallying and yelling shit, nobody should be countering that with violence of their own. If ethno-supremacists are targeting minorities with actual violence then counter-violence to prevent this is understandable. Maybe even comendable.

Churchill starved (to the point of death) 3 million Indians or whatever no one seemed too fussed

if the killing is done for the righteous reasons its ok, maybe? i dunno

to fight a nazi is not good but may be required, maybe? i dunno

Yeah. Violence is always a fine line. In defence of minority ethnicities under violent threat it seems justifiable. Violence against some racist dimwit waving a placard of some description? Unjustifiable in my book.

'Proportionate response' is the term I think.

That's just the nature of the news cycle. Something loud and noisy pushes everything else back. The morally bankrupt ideology of racial segregation and ethnic bigotry won't go away though, so the bleating by their hangers-on about the evils of ANTIFA will no doubt cycle around to the front again before too long. And when Daniel Andrews is up for re-election down here in Victoria those Dreaded African Gangs™ will surface again in the Herald-Scum. They may even change race to another undesirable!

Seen it all before...

Been reading a bit about the underlying philosophies driving the "anti-x" movements. What was described below was a bit alarming, assuming it was accurate. I definitely don't like fascism and I definitely don't like racism so being anti those things must be good, right? That's what I thought anyway until I started reading into it a bit more. I am absolutely not a fan of the rioters/looters and think their actions are not justified by anything I can see. We're right at the margins here, but I think I dislike anarchists slightly more than I do racists and fascists.

Anyhow, I'd be interested in others' opinions (after reading the below - each is about 8 mins).

You and me both. I think they detract from what SHOULD be the focus of the peoples' ire - the very system that both enables and protects these so-called 'officers of the peace' who carry out their human rights abuses with such impunity.

That system, that way of doing wrong and being able to hide behind the skirts of State when exposed - it is an Act of War against the people. Looting and destroying places of business may seem to some a symbolic strike against a part of this system but it is ENTIRELY the wrong target.

The status-quo will not simply say they were wrong beyond a sound-byte here and a soundbyte there.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the people need to form a proper militia and take advantage of their 2nd Constitutional Amendment rights that are so beloved of their enemies in that nation.

They need to fight back.

The tactics of fascist groups, an ex-white supremacist talks about his fall and Antifa’s role in rescuing people from this sick culture.

Descent into hate

“I was introduced to Iron March through an online friend,” S.G. told CTVNews.ca in a Skype interview Monday, adding that he was already flirting with hateful ideology through “irony poisoning.”

Irony poisoning is a term used to describe the process of desensitization to extremist, hateful rhetoric by the use of “humour,” and especially on the internet - memes - that assist in sliding a person further into the spheres of fascism, white supremacy and violence.

...

S.G. was adamant that although he was grateful for the opportunity to share his journey and potentially help other neo-Nazi extremists to seek de-radicalization by speaking to the media, he credits the antifa (anti-fascist) movement for doing the majority of the work necessary to break down barriers.

“As someone who was, you know, on the other side, I can say the work that they [antifa] are doing is indispensable,” he said. “The anti-fascists have probably done more than any authorities to disrupt and combat the rise of fascism.”

“There is no ‘both sides’ when It comes to the anti-fascists,” S.G. said. “They are right.”

So Bigfooty now openly supporting and cheerleading a violent, Marxist, group of street thugs.

And silencing anyone who tries to point that out.

You lot are a disgrace.

And you will lose this war. The people don’t support you, and never will.

Is this about the Magna Carta?

And regardless of what’s out there on the far right, do you lot honestly believe, that that justifies some of the violent behaviour we are seeing from Antifa?

Such as this?

Or are you simply going to bury your head in the sand and just keep saying ‘well right wing nutters are worse’ like some sort of sheep?

If you oppose violence, you oppose violence and are willing to condemn it. Irrespective of the so called political allegiance of those behind it.

Im certain Malifice will delete this outrageous comment, and give me a serious infraction and account ban for saying this.

Anyone can call themselves an anti-fascist.

“Antifa” are basically a collection of anarchists.

But they’re the ones doing the hard yards in breaking the back of the little fascist, White supremacist, neo-Nazi groups that have sprung up like weeds these last few years.

They arent just attacking the far right, Neo Nazis etc.

And you know it.

And that’s the problem.

You think it’s ok for these clowns to go around shooting motorists, and stabbing people simply because they support Trump?

You’ve given an example - I’m happy to look at it but London to a brick it’s a lone nutter loosely attached.

More far left crazies easily.

Way more violence going on with the far left then the far right. Prove me wrong.

If the right was as much of a threat as the Chief’s and Malifice’s would have us all believe, with “weed” like posse’s of neo Nazis popping up everywhere, why haven’t we seen any full on head to head blow ups in Portland and Seattle....the PNW a so called hot bed of neo Nazi, far right activity. Why haven’t we seen any Charlottesville style right wing “mobilisation” to confront what we are seeing in Seattle and Portland etc? Because the truth is, they are a virtual non entity, that’s why.

Unlike violent Marxist and anarchist groups like Antifa.

Curious Chief.

With our society currently in the vice like grip of an out of control epidemic of far right extremism and far right violence, when was the last time you saw neo Nazis or KKK or Richard Spencer and co, putting on a display like the people we see in this video?

Dunno mate - check out any of the rallies or hidey holes these far right idiots hang around.

Its interesting the way certain types of people have to flail about desperate to find someone - anyone - they might be able to claim as worse than the far-right.

I am sure the nasty dregs of the far right will always dredge up as many incidents as they can in order to play innocent victim.
