Was honestly a bit worried Ron would take a pass on '24. Epic primary season incoming, Donnie is going to eat him alive.

It is obscene the amount of money that will be spent in 2024.

So much of it will be wasted on the Republican side as unless tRump is in jail, doubt anyone else will get the nomination.

was listening to a political podcast a week ago, think it was Hacks On tap

they said the Wisconsin Supreme court election a few weeks ago had 70 million raised from the winning democrat

They compared this to the 45 million that Clinton spent in his entire reelection campaign in 1996.....

obscene is defiantly the word

I think DeSantis might be most pathetic Republican with delusions of becoming President yet.

He reminds me a lot of Ted Cruz - except of course he's basically an establishment politician masquerading as a populist. But his personality is every bit as repellent as Cruz.

I hope that one of the silver linings of his presidential run is that it will end his political career - whilst pissing off non-Trump conservatives. But in reality, these Republicans do not seem to feel embarrassment or shame - and likely he's just hang around the fringes after this, like Cruz, still in deluded hope that one day he'll become President.

The other unfortunate reality is when Trump is inevitably nominated, all the ''DeSantis'' conservatives will immediately fall in line behind Trump. Because at the end of the day, they actually don't see that much wrong with Trump - just that he's too chaotic/incompetent to tear down the government institutions and cut tax for the rich fast enough.

Ron has set it up that he can be Governor AND run the Presidential race AND return if he doesnt make it

He is in office in Florida until 2027

But may destroy his future chances of being POTUS with this tilt!

Aussies afraid to go to Florida

Amateur Australian footballers in the US are refusing to play in this year’s finals series in Florida because they fear the state’s gender laws could put them in jail or risk their lives.
Almost 200 players, coaches and supporters have signed an open letter demanding the USAFL move October’s national championships to a “safer location for all involved”.

But league bosses say that while “some current circumstances and situations are distressing” for some club members, it is too late to shift the tournament to another state.
