They absolutely have the right to tell batsman to either face up or retire hurt. They've been far too lenient for years
In response Boland could have said fine I’m going off injured with 2 balls left, and than been too unfit to play before heroically returning for a last wicket stand.

Boland now joins Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc, Michael Neser, and Chris Woakes in the group of players with higher batting averages in this series than Alex Carey

The question is, why is it an issue now. England have been time wasting the entire series and as soon as they have a sniff of being half competitive all of a sudden there’s huge drama around a bloke that’s smashed his finger and they’re all setting the 20 metre sprint record in the change of overs
Yeah massively slow over rates they have no right to whinge.

Good turnout at Hobat interesting test .
They should get more tests here .

Tassie back drop is also pretty good.
Who misses out then? 5 tests in a summer so Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth would need to not get one. Boxing Day and New Years will always be in Melbourne and Sydney.

Just have six.

The original plan this summer was for a test in Hobart against Afghanistan remember.

Two lots of three for most visitors. Best of six for Ashes and India?

They won't drop Brissy as the Aussies have super record there.

Perth the only one that's in Danger IMO.

Based on pitches Sydney would be my pick. 0% chance of that ever happening though

You could have seven if you really wanted to. Our international summer is quite short.

The crowds have actually been well down on the 14000 tickets sold to each of the first three days allthough Covid that hit Tassie in recent weeks is the reason for that.

Covid has fooked up every thing pretty much.

Going to the cricket, is pretty good at smaller grounds that are pretty packed for almost every day.

That's why I enjoyed going to the ashes over in England .

FU Ronna.
