Obviously Watson has to go.
But..... when was the last time our captain imposed himself when our backs are to the wall either? He is every bit as predictable as Watson - maybe get 20-30, hang out the bat, caught behind or plays it on.
U wot m8?
The last time was barely a year ago.
Did you miss the 161* he made with a fractured shoulder to, along with Ryan Harris, win us a 3rd test and series in South Africa (ie. the #1 ranked team)?
He's not in the ungodly form of 2012 but he's still quite easily the 2nd best bat currently in the team.
Since start of 2014 calendar year: 19 innings (3 n.o including 161* in S.A), 540 runs, ave 33.7, No score over 18 in 9xsecond innings.... presumably when our backs are most likely be to the wall! Take that one score of 161 out of it and the picture is abysmal.U wot m8?

As far as backs go his second slip spot is about as good as it could get if you are going to field.I would have thought fielding in the slips wouldn't be ideal for his back either.

I quite like the English crowds with their singing and carry on. Heaps better than Australian cheers, which are usually something like repeatedly shouting the name of your side out loud and clapping three times.Sensational attempt to save the boundary there, most polite of applause. The English crowds are probs still more rambunctious than West Coast ones though.
Just silly by Warner.
