Hung in for 3 and a half quarters with the Hawks in Tassie, can't complain we are finally getting all the pieces together again.
Your pressure in the first quarter in particular was fantastic. Set up really well behind the ball and limited our ball movement a great deal. We started to get on top in the second and ended up kicking 10 of the last 13 goals. But the pieces are starting to be there for GC. Just need to get more cattle on the park.

Lynch is a star

and nobody thought we'd beat Hawthorn or Adelaide in Adelaide either. Worth noting that the undefeated at the time NM and the Hawks barely scraped by St.k... yes we didn't get them and imo we have ourselves to blame, blew an inordinate amount of chances that cost us the win but with 4 games at home to come and the bottom two sides as well as our perrenial bitches, Richmond. I will be utterly staggered if we lose 3 from here to miss the 4.
I thought you wold probably beat us round 1. Coming off a much shorter preseason with a few key players missing, no surprise you ran over the top of us. Round 1 is practically irrelevant

Bit harsh mate. Literally half our team is out with injury or are playing through injury. Ironically, the same thing happened to your mob in the year you got the no.2 pick which resulted in Natanui
Not sure you would have won those games anyways to be fair. Tough opposition.

meh. Bigger fish to fry. You may understand one day...
Bigger fish to fry? You enjoyed bagging us out when we lost to them but when you do, 'oh no, we've got bigger fish to fry'. Nothing to see here...

Never change mate, never change.

Hun but anyway... SM I wouldn't say no to Rohan, particularly off half back :)

GOLD Coast Suns midfielder Dion Prestia has requested more time to decide on his future as Richmond and Melbourne circle the star playmaker.

Prestia’s manager, Marty Pask, met Gold Coast list chief Scott Clayton and footy boss Marcus Ashcroft in Melbourne on Monday but no agreement was reached.

And Geelong has shown interest in Sydney Swans’ speedster Gary Rohan.

Rohan, 25, is a free agent at the end of next season but the Cats could make an earlier move on the Geelong Falcons graduate if Rohan wanted to return home sooner.

The Suns have made a lucrative and long-term offer to keep Prestia, 23, who was taken with the No.9 draft pick in 2010.

But the line breaking onballer is yet to decide whether he wants to return home to a Victorian club with another meeting between Pask and the club scheduled for next month.

Go for it, he's not much better than Jetta.
I think that leg really set him back (thanks Lindsay... No wonder everyone thinks you're a campaigner ;)) but boy we need a little speed out of defence in the next couple of years. I don't mind adding a bit more depth giving we're unlikely to be big trade players this year.
