Nope. Hanners did the same a few years ago.

Thought you had the inside word on his movements. ;)
Well I know we've been in his ear again. I personally don't think he's off but stranger things have happened.

We're after another GWS heist though apparently.

I see Rockliff is also at a contract impasse. Just give him what he wants Brisbane, he's the best thing you've got.

He's really not. He racks up the ball and does absolutely nothing with it.

I'd argue Beams and Robinson both have more impact in midfield than Rockliff. Zorko another but as you say he's more of a forward.
Would much rather Rockliff over Robinson. Although Robinson has been doing some fantastic tagging roles this season

Who?

He get's a lot of cheap possessions but when you're picking up 40 odd touches, some of them will be.

Did you see Rockliff's metres gained stat?

Yes he is, in terms of impact.
I suppose turning the footy over and giving away free kicks has more impact. Negative impact. I do agree that Rockcliff's 40 touches is like most mids 25. But I dont think Robinson has ever even gone close to averaging that.

Tony Leonard mention during the Richmond v Lions match that he had discussed Hurley with Connors and Connors had told him that it's a two horse race and that Adelaide and the Bulldogs are leading it. He indicated that the Bulldogs had put forward a 5 year offer!

He also said that the Crows deal is expected to be greater but that Hurley wants to remain in Melbourne where he was born. Take it all with a pinch of salt though, it's probably just Connors trying to drain Essendon as much as possible.

Also believe he's still under contract and don't think he'd go with the ooga booga clause, so I think it'd need a trade.
Pretty sure he can just walk as a DFA.

Rockliff turns the ball over a lot too, and gains no ground with the ball in hand. Robinson puts pressure on the opposition.

Robbo is no more than a C-grader who plays some games at a B-graders level. Rockcliff is by no means an A-grade mid, but he is a lot better than Robbo!

Maybe not on ability but he's having more of an impact than Rockliff. That's for sure.
Except that he doesn't. Averages this year

Rockliff:

I50's: 2
Tackles: 7
Clearances: 5
Total Goals: 5.1
Score Involvements: 7
DE%: 75

Robinson:
I50's: 1
Tackles: 6
Clearances: 5
Total Goals: 1.3
Score Involvements: 5
DE%: 64%
