Carlton's list management has been shit since you stopped cheating. Why should anyone think the current staff are any different?
If that was the logic used why would anyone think the North staff would be able to get more than 20k members or the Essendon staff wouldn't inject weird substances :D

Harsh on Wright. Solid performer at a top 6 club this season. Many were surprised when he was cut from the Crows list.
Agree

Massive upgrade on Jason Tutt and on all those GWS smalls you picked up.

I would've been happy to trade Hrovat or Honeychurch for him to be honest, he has excellent disposal and lowers his eyes all the time, could be a Boomer type of player if played in his correct position as a high half forward.

Have you seen Wright play? He butchers the footy. That's the difference.
Does not, he is one of the best short kicks in the league imo. He lowers his eyes and hits the best option forward of centre regularly when he has the ball.

Sanderson wrecked him in 2013-14 by using him as a run with player regularly which made him be less effective and his output dropped, then this year was used as a sub a lot, the bloke didn't get a proper chance in his preferred position imo.

I think you rate him a lot higher than most, including his former club.

If the Adelaide supporters were surprised he was delisted, that should at least indicate he isn't completely horrible. We currently are so he could only help...

Blokes like Wright will improve you in the medium term minimum imo. Adelaide had a lot of small forward-mid types running around too like Cameron, Betts, Knight etc so may have deemed him surplus? Plus Menzel obviously goes there too which bolsters that area.

Blokes like Tutt, Sumner and Lamb won't improve you though. A 94 gamer in Wright does.

I actually like Tutt. Isn't the most gifted but puts his head over the ball and busts his gut for the team. Need more of him.

Lamb will be ok as well. Watched him play a lot over the last couple of years. Sumner is destined to be terrible. But 3 out of 4 in that GWS trade would be alright.

Tutt just never consolidates his spot in the team though, got no clue why as he's capable if playing good footy, maybe he doesn't do it often enough.

3rd club for Lamb, he's no Everitt who was very solid at Sydney and was culled to make room for Buddy in the cap. He would want to make an impression quickly otherwise I don't see how he makes it.

Plowman is the only one likely to come good out of that GWS 4, don't rate Phillips at all, Downie and Lobb had him covered when Mummy went down. Hopefully he's not on Warnockesque wages :p

Goldy had 80 hitouts against Lobb when Mummy was out. Would have had 100+ against Phillips lol

As you say, Lamb was pushed out due to Buddy. He performed very well in the NEAFL this season but wasn't rewarded for that.

Phillips is vying for 2nd ruck behind Kreuzer. Will be between him and Wood and he'll likely get it. Been impressed with him so far in pre season - but then as you say, that is in comparison to the witches hat.

IMO Everitt and Mumford were, twas referring to Everitt there before sorry, I think Sydney wanted to keep Lamb but he left for greater opportunity, twas a PSD pick for GWS.

Throw in Gorringe also

Hopefully you draft a ruck to be honest so these guys are only there short-medium term while the kid develops.

Sounds about right :p

Downie was number 2 choice eventually, don't think he played against you lot.

Isn't it now well recognized that unless a ruck is ready to play immediately (Nic Nat, Grundy), then you are best to recruit them in your mid 20's, rather than draft them? Unless you are hoping Carlton draft a ruck and the dogs can pick him up in 4 years for nada. Too many busts imo unless you are using late round picks on them

They have Kreuzer plus the potatoes to use in the short-medium term

They'll have list space to take one late imo.

watched him since under 18s, will give you everything like Kerridge will clearly be in your top 10 players, you guys will like him.
Unfortunately for us he isnt in our top 30 anymore, but good luck to him.

have you watched him much?
have you watched carlton much?
Kedge will be great for them
I'm originally from Bendigo and was a couple of years above him at school, I've seen a fair bit.

I agree that he'll be a good pickup for the Blues, I just don't ever see Kedge being a 'top 10 talent ' on list player anywhere tbh. Finishing top 10 in the B&F off the back of consistency and hardwork is definitely a possibility, it happens often enough, but that's very different to being top 10 in pure talent and the fact is that despite the shit state of Carlton's list they still do have players with a much higher ceiling than Kerridge does.

Water off a ducks back. 3 losses since 2007. Care factor is rather low. Shame we didn't get you twice next year. Oh well 4pts it is ;)
Well why did you post a video from 2013 :drunk:

Sure mate, Zac Smith and Stanlol :$ vs Godstein. We'll get first use and smash you, in Melbourne or in that backwater town.
