Why didn't they make him captain this time last year? Still a chance to leave IMO if Freo don't show him they're future is bright.

Didn't they players pick Mundy last season? Crazy that they'd be over him already or that the club doesn't care what the players think anymore and are doing everything that can to keep Fyfe happy

So the players who picked Mundy now think Mundy was a s**t choice and are behind the new appointment? Or the club no longer trust the playing group to make that sort of call. Normally the players are a good gauge when voting for their leaders.
Players vote every season. Just the mix of players has changed.
I would think the younger guys would look up to Fyfe more than guys who already played AFL when he was drafted.
